Standardized Testing at Waubonsie Valley
School Testing (2024-25)
During the 2024-25 school year, students at Waubonsie Valley are scheduled to take the following standardized exams:
Advance Placement Testing
Taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses. Waubonsie Valley High School desires that all students take AP exams for the AP classes that they are enrolled in. Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn students college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount on tuition or providing other benefits at the collegiate level.
Registration for 2025 AP Exams will take place using student College Board accounts and the PushCoin webstore. The first step of the 2025 AP Exam registration process is for students to use their teacher provided AP course “Join Code” through the College Board Website. Students will then individually register for each exam by purchasing the corresponding exam item from the PushCoin Webstore. Both steps must be completed by November 1st. If either step is not completed, the student will not be registered for the AP exam. Partial registrations will be canceled.
Testing for College Admissions
The two leading college admissions exams are the SAT and ACT. These exams are offered at locations locally and across the nation on Saturdays. All registrations for national test dates are handled by the student and the testing company. Students who qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch at Waubonsie Valley should see their counselor about potential fee waivers for ACT/SAT testing.
