Course Registration at Waubonsie Valley

Course Selection Timeline for Current Waubonsie Valley Students
January 2022- Course selection materials are posted to the Waubonsie Valley Counseling Department, Student Splash Page and Main WVHS websites.
January 2022- Teachers to discuss course recommendations for the next course in their academic sequence.
January 19th- Course Exchange held at Waubonsie Valley. Students have the opportunity to visit four course presentations to learn about opportunities for the 2022-23 school year. Schedule Here.

January 21st-January 30th- StudentVue & ParentVue are open to view teacher recommendations and select additional courses. Course selections should be entered by January 30th. Courses are NOT filled on a first come first served basis. All course requests received by this date will receive equal consideration. Students and families may log into StudentVue / ParentVue and complete course registration over multiple sessions.
January 31st-February 18th- Current high school students meet with counselors to finalize course selection. Meetings will take place during the student's assigned Math class. Schedule Here.
February 18th- Last day for current high school students to request level changes. Contact academic department chair to discuss level change.
May 2021- Course requests are viewable in StudentVue / ParentVue to verify registered classes. 
May 16th-May 27th- Students may request elective changes. Requests must be received in writing by counselor and will be processed on a space available basis. Requests received during this window are not guaranteed. Level changes must be approved by academic department chair. 
Mid August- Schedules viewable online through StudentVue / ParentVue. Schedules are not finalized until the first day of school and may change after their initial posting

Course Selection Timeline for Incoming Freshmen
January 2022- Course selection materials are posted to the Waubonsie Valley Counseling Department, Student Splash Page and Main WVHS websites.

February 2nd-February 11th- ParentVue is open to view course recommendations and select additional courses. Course selections should be entered by February 11th. Courses are NOT filled on a first come first served basis. All course requests received by this date will receive equal consideration. Students and families may log into ParentVue and complete course registration over multiple sessions. Freshmen year course selection resources.
February 9th- Waubonsie Valley 8th Grade Open House will begin at 6:30pm. Resources will be available online following the in person presentation. (Rescheduled from February 2nd)
February 18th- Last day for incoming freshmen to request level/elective changes. Contact academic department chair to discuss level change.
February 14th-February 18th- WVHS counselors will review incoming freshmen course requests and reach out to individuals who have errors in their selections.
May 2021- Course requests are viewable in StudentVue / ParentVue to verify registered classes.
