School counseling has seen many changes to initiatives in college planning & career development. It is our goal as department to ensure that each of our students has a plan for continued education after graduation that will lead them to meaningful employment. We aim to help students answer the following questions: What is something I am good at? What is something I love to do?
House Staff & PartnersThe Counseling Department works collaboratively with the other members of the House System at Waubonsie Valley to meet the needs of our students. This includes: social workers, deans, psychologist, school administrators and secretaries.

The counselors at Waubonsie Valley realize that our students aren't one dimensional. What they do at home, in the classroom and after school all contribute to who our students are. For that reason we offer services covering academics, career planning, college readiness and social emotional learning.
